Alumina Ceramic Foundry Filter

Alumina Ceramic Foundry Filter is produced on the basis of a carrier with a solid network structure and organic foam cells. Used for filtration and purification of molten aluminum alloy.

The production process of Alumina Ceramic Foundry Filter
The carrier is put into the thixotropic alumina slurry, and the square centering automatic extrusion process is used to make the slurry evenly deposited on the foam skeleton of the carrier.
After drying and solidification, it is calcined to form the carrier and finally becomes the final product.
Sintering is performed at a high temperature of 1180°C.

Advantages of Alumina Ceramic Foundry Filter
Ceramic Foundry Filter adopts the principle of adsorption, which can effectively remove large inclusions in molten aluminum, and effectively adsorb small inclusions.
No debris falls off, effectively reducing the pollution of molten aluminum and reducing waste related to inclusions.
Excellent thermal shock resistance, improve the erosion resistance of molten metal.
Improve surface appearance and performance, purify molten aluminum.
Reduce production costs associated with containing defects.

Ceramic foam filters are basically divided into 6 pore sizes: 10PPI, 15PPI, 20PPI, 25PPI,

30PPI, and 40PPI. The larger the number, the smaller the aperture. But in actual practice, the

four types of 10PPI 20PPI 30PP 40PPI can meet the needs of customers.

Aperture selection
1. The casting: 10~25ppi
2. Semi-continuous casting: 30~60ppi
3. High-quality aluminum or sheet: 50~60ppi
4. Continuous casting and rolling: 50~60p

How to choose Ceramic Foundry Filter?
1. Aluminum alloy bar selection: 10-30ppi
2. Long-term casting options: 30-50ppi
3. High-quality aluminum profile or plate selection: 40 or 50ppi
4. Double zero wave continuous casting and rolling options:> 50ppi
