Fluks aluminium cair juga mencakup perlakuan terhadap logam cair dengan gas inert atau gas reaktif untuk menghilangkan inklusi atau kontaminan gas dari logam tersebut.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Komposisi kimia bahan pelebur<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adtechamm.com\/id\/al-alloy-refining-flux\/\">Flux Aluminium Cair<\/a> (dalam bentuk bubuk, serpihan, atau butiran) biasanya terdiri dari klorida dan fluorida serta bahan tambahan lain untuk memberikan sifat-sifat khusus padanya.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagian besar bahan pelebur terbuat dari campuran garam KCl dan NaCl, yang membentuk campuran eutektik bersuhu rendah (665\u00ba\u0421). Oksigen yang dilepaskan akibat dekomposisi nitrat bereaksi dengan aluminium logam sehingga membentuk Al\u2082O\u2083 dan menghasilkan panas yang besar.<br \/>\nHal ini secara lokal meningkatkan laju perputaran dan mempercepat proses pemisahan dari oksida logam.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Degas Flux<\/strong><br \/>\nBeberapa senyawa akan terurai saat gas tersebut dilepaskan, seperti klorin atau karbon dioksida.<br \/>\nJika aliran-aliran ini masuk ke bawah permukaan cairan logam, gelembung akan terbentuk, sehingga mengurangi kandungan hidrogen dalam cairan logam tersebut.<br \/>\nSenyawa yang paling terkenal di antara senyawa-senyawa tersebut adalah heksakloroetana (C\u2082Cl\u2086), yang melepaskan klorin (Cl\u2082) dan senyawa AlCl\u2083 dalam bentuk gas.<\/p>\n<p>Kelembapan di atmosfer bereaksi dengan aluminium cair sehingga membentuk lapisan oksida, dan atom hidrogen terbentuk di antara atom-atom aluminium. Oksida-oksida tersebut tidak hanya tertinggal di permukaan, tetapi sebagian di antaranya juga jatuh ke dalam cairan aluminium, dan ketika suhu menurun, sebagian di antaranya mengandung gelembung hidrogen.<\/p>\n<p>Selama proses pengecoran, lapisan oksida pada permukaan aluminium terbentuk. Sebagian dari oksida tersebut jatuh ke dalam cairan logam. Oksida-oksida ini dapat berbentuk lapisan yang memiliki rasio panjang dan lebar terhadap ketebalan yang sangat tinggi.
