Filter juga banyak digunakan dalam pengecoran pasir biasa, seperti pengecoran pasang surut, serta pengecoran dengan cetakan permanen, seperti pengecoran komponen aluminium untuk industri otomotif.<br \/>\nFilter Busa Keramik Bahan Tahan Api menggunakan proses filtrasi yang didasarkan pada pertimbangan-pertimbangan berikut. Di satu sisi, proses filtrasi ini membuat aliran aluminium cair menjadi teratur dan relatif tenang, sementara di sisi lain, terak padat dalam logam cair dapat dihilangkan secara efektif, sehingga kualitas coran pun meningkat dengan cepat.<\/p>\n<p>Filter Busa Keramik dari Bahan Tahan Api secara efektif menghilangkan partikel padat dari logam cair, sehingga paduan aluminium dapat ditempa dengan lancar, diolah menjadi foil aluminium, dan melalui proses ekstrusi untuk menghasilkan produk aluminium yang sempurna.<br \/>\nProduk ini tersedia dalam rentang ukuran pori-pori mulai dari 20 ppi (pori-pori kasar) hingga 60 ppi (pori-pori sangat halus), sehingga selalu ada standar produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan Anda. Suhu pemanasan awal untuk filter busa keramik harus di atas 260\u2103. Kapas yang mengembang akan mengencang setelah pemanasan awal. Prosedur ini membuat filter busa keramik terpasang kokoh di dalam aluminium cair. Pemanasan awal juga membuat pori-pori filter busa keramik terbuka dan mencegah penyumbatan yang disebabkan oleh ekspansi dan kontraksi termal.<br \/>\nPerhatikan perubahan ketinggian aluminium cair, dan jaga agar aliran aluminium cair tetap sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan. Ketinggian awal aluminium cair yang normal adalah 100\u2013150 mm. Ketinggian tersebut akan turun di bawah 75\u2013100 mm saat aluminium cair mengalir, dan kemudian akan perlahan-lahan meningkat kembali.<br \/>\nJangan memukul atau mengguncang filter busa keramik selama proses penyaringan. Pada saat yang sama, atur laju aliran aluminium cair di saluran tuang agar tidak terlalu banyak maupun terlalu sedikit.<br \/>\nKeluarkan filter busa keramik dan bersihkan wadah filter segera setelah proses penyaringan selesai.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saat ini terdapat dua metode utama untuk menentukan porositas.<\/strong><br \/>\nSalah satunya adalah menghitung volume lubang pada pelat saringan berdasarkan hukum Archimedes, yaitu dengan menyuntikkan air ke dalam gelas kimia yang dilengkapi pipa luapan hingga air mengalir keluar dari pipa luapan tersebut.<br \/>\nAir tersebut akan diuji setelah alirannya berhenti.<br \/>\nSemua sampel dimasukkan dengan hati-hati ke dalam air, kemudian air mengalir keluar melalui tabung luapan, dan volume air di bagian ini diukur.<br \/>\nVolume air limpahan dikurangkan dari volume fisik pelat saring, yang merupakan volume total lubang-lubang pada pelat saring tersebut.<br \/>\nMetode lain adalah dengan menentukan secara terpisah kepadatan sebenarnya dan kepadatan volume sampel yang akan diuji, kemudian menghitung porositas sampel tersebut berdasarkan rumus berikut.<br \/>\nKedua metode ini masing-masing memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangannya sendiri.<br \/>\nCara kerjanya sederhana dan praktis, serta kecepatan pendeteksiannya tinggi, namun kelemahan fatalnya disebabkan oleh karakteristik penyerapan air dari bahan pelat filter itu sendiri, sehingga volume air yang dikeluarkan lebih kecil daripada volume sebenarnya.
