Saat ini, terdapat tiga cara yang dapat dilakukan oleh pabrik peleburan dan pengecoran untuk memasukkan gas inert ke dalam cairan aluminium, yaitu melalui pipa penghilang gas, bata ventilasi, dan penghilangan gas rotari.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Metode peniupan gas yang paling sederhana adalah dengan memasukkan tabung pemurnian ke dalam cairan aluminium, lalu mengalirkan gas inert. Metode penghilangan gas dengan satu tabung berlubang tunggal memiliki efektivitas penghilangan gas yang rendah. Ada juga beberapa pabrik peleburan dan pengecoran yang memasang bata berlubang di bagian bawah tungku. Gas inert membentuk gelembung melalui saluran-saluran pada bata berlubang tersebut. Dibandingkan dengan metode peniupan satu lubang, metode peniupan melalui bata berlubang memiliki efek penghilangan gas dan pemurnian yang lebih baik.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Namun, dalam proses penggunaannya, bata berventilasi memiliki beberapa kelemahan, yaitu mudah tersumbat, terjadi kebocoran cairan aluminium, sulit dalam hal pemeliharaan dan perbaikan, fluktuasi tingkat cairan yang parah, serta pembentukan terak yang lebih banyak.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Seiring dengan semakin mendalamnya penelitian, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/rotary-degassing-method\/\">penghilangan gas secara rotari<\/a> <\/em>Berbagai metode telah bermunculan satu demi satu. Prinsip dasarnya adalah gas inert disemprotkan ke dalam cairan aluminium melalui rotor yang berputar untuk membentuk sejumlah besar gelembung-gelembung yang tersebar, sehingga melakukan proses pemurnian dengan penghilangan gas. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penghilangan gas, jumlah gelembung gas inert harus sebanyak mungkin, diameter gelembung gas inert harus kecil, gelembung gas inert harus bertahan dalam cairan aluminium dalam waktu yang lama, dan tingkat cairan aluminium harus sedapat mungkin stabil.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Aluminium cair mengalir ke dalam selubung degassing dan menetap di lapisan tahan api. Tangki tersebut dilengkapi dengan pemanas sehingga aluminium cair tetap dalam keadaan cair. Stator grafit tersebut tidak berputar di dalam cairan aluminium, dan lapisan luar rakitan batang\/rotor grafit yang berputar terlindungi.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Batang grafit dan rotor grafit dirakit menjadi satu, lalu cairan aluminium diaduk. Gas inert disemprotkan ke dalam cairan aluminium dari tepi bawah stator dan alur di tepi atas rotor grafit melalui celah antara stator dan batang grafit.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Mode sirkulasi cairan aluminium dengan rotor grafit\/rotor aluminium. Melalui gaya geser yang dihasilkan oleh rotor grafit, cairan aluminium bersirkulasi ke bawah, sehingga mengimbangi pengaruh daya apung alami, sehingga gelembung yang dikeluarkan dari rotor dan stator disemprotkan secara radial dan tersebar merata dalam cairan aluminium untuk mencapai penghilangan gas yang optimal.
