Aluminium tersebut akan diperoleh dari perumahan sementara di Prefektur Fukushima, Jepang, yang dilanda gempa bumi, tsunami, dan bencana nuklir pada tahun 2011, demikian dilaporkan media lokal pada hari Selasa.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih dari 10.000 potong aluminium daur ulang akan digunakan untuk membuat obor-obor tersebut. Menurut laporan media, obor-obor tersebut akan digunakan oleh para pelari dalam estafet nasional setelah api Olimpiade tiba di Jepang dari Yunani pada 20 Maret 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Rencana untuk menggunakan aluminium daur ulang dari lokasi yang rusak merupakan upaya simbolis untuk mendukung \u201cOlimpiade Rekonstruksi\u201d, yang merupakan salah satu tema utama Olimpiade Musim Panas.<\/p>\n<p>Panitia penyelenggara Olimpiade dan pemerintah daerah akan bekerja sama dalam menentukan logam apa saja yang dapat didaur ulang dari perumahan sementara yang sudah tidak digunakan lagi. Desain obor tersebut telah disetujui oleh Komite Olimpiade Internasional dan akan diumumkan pada musim semi 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Obor Olimpiade berbahan aluminium atau \u201capi rekonstruksi\u201d akan dipamerkan pertama kali di Miyagi, Iwate, dan Fukushima, tiga prefektur yang paling parah terdampak bencana nuklir tahun 2011.
