\nBerbentuk bubuk halus berwarna putih (abu-abu), dengan komponen utama berupa klorida dan villiaumite, serta senyawa kimia lainnya. Setelah melalui proses pemanasan dan penyaringan, produk ini memiliki ukuran butiran yang seragam, sehingga memudahkan proses pemanasan dalam tungku. Produk ini banyak digunakan untuk pemurnian aluminium cor dan paduan aluminium dalam tungku reverberasi serta tungku penahan.
