{"id":2841,"date":"2017-11-30T05:35:19","date_gmt":"2017-11-30T05:35:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.adtechamm.com\/?p=2841"},"modified":"2017-12-07T05:10:10","modified_gmt":"2017-12-07T05:10:10","slug":"aluminum-fluxes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.adtechamm.com\/id\/aluminum-fluxes\/","title":{"rendered":"Flux Aluminium"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Flux Aluminium<\/h1>\n<p>Flux Aluminium<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.adtechamm.com\/id\/2017\/11\/23\/degassing-flux-material-staff-data-sheet\/\">Flux Penghilang Gas<\/a><br \/>\nHidrogen, yang terdapat di bengkel pengecoran terutama akibat dekomposisi uap air, sangat mudah larut dalam paduan aluminium cair, tetapi jauh lebih sulit larut dalam fase padat. Ketika aluminium mengeras, hidrogen terlarut yang berlebih keluar dari larutan dan membentuk gelembung, mulai dari ukuran lubang jarum hingga ukuran yang jauh lebih besar. Logam yang belum melalui proses penghilangan gas sebelum pengecoran rentan terhadap jenis cacat ini. Bahan penghilang gas menghilangkan hidrogen, serta oksida dan kotoran lainnya.<\/p>\n<p>Fluks Eksotermik<br \/>\nFlux jenis ini ditambahkan ke terak untuk melepaskan logam yang terperangkap di dalamnya, sehingga dapat mengurangi kerugian peleburan.<\/p>\n<p>Bahan Flux untuk Pembersihan Dinding Tungku<br \/>\nPenumpukan oksida pada dinding tungku cenderung memperpendek masa pakai tungku, sekaligus mempersulit pekerjaan dan mengurangi volume tungku. Jika penumpukan tersebut tidak dikendalikan, oksida-oksida tersebut dapat membentuk korundum, suatu bahan yang sangat sulit dihilangkan. Lapisan tipis atau kulit aluminium oksida yang kokoh terbentuk dengan cepat pada semua permukaan yang baru terpapar, terutama dalam keadaan cair. Penambahan sisa logam atau ingot ke dalam cairan logam, serta proses pengadukan dan pengocokan, menyebabkan aluminium oksida tersuspensi di dalam cairan logam. Jika oksida-oksida ini terperangkap dalam produk cor, hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan cacat, sehingga harus dihilangkan dari cairan logam. Sebagian besar oksida tersebut berasal dari aluminium, namun unsur-unsur paduan seperti magnesium, besi, tembaga, dan titanium juga dapat membentuk oksida masing-masing.<\/p>\n<p>Flux pembersih diperlukan untuk menghilangkan oksida dari logam cair, sedangkan flux pelindung berfungsi sebagai penghalang pada permukaan logam cair untuk mencegah pembentukan oksida. Umumnya, flux yang sama dapat digunakan untuk kedua tujuan tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Senyawa fluorida dalam fluks meningkatkan efektivitasnya dan memungkinkan fluks tersebut digunakan pada suhu yang lebih rendah. Namun, fluorida dapat melepaskan asap berbahaya, sehingga karena alasan lingkungan, beberapa pabrik pengecoran lebih memilih menggunakan fluks dengan kandungan fluorida rendah. Flux bebas natrium digunakan pada paduan hipereutektik (kadar silikon &gt;12%), karena natrium dapat mengganggu proses penghalusan butir fosfor. Flux yang tersedia untuk rentang suhu yang berbeda terutama berbeda dalam titik lelehnya.<\/p>\n<p>Flux Pengubah Natrium<br \/>\nPada paduan hipoeutektik yang mengandung silikon, penambahan natrium atau strontium mengakibatkan perubahan struktur silikon yang menghasilkan peningkatan sifat mekanis (kekuatan tarik atau perpanjangan) serta kemudahan pengecoran. Pada paduan yang telah dimodifikasi tersebut, penyusutan pengecoran selama proses pemadatan tersebar merata, bukan terkonsentrasi dalam rongga-rongga besar. Modifikasi dengan natrium juga sangat efektif dalam mencegah porositas akibat penyusutan.<\/p>\n<p>Bahan Penghalus Butiran<br \/>\nUkuran butir pada paduan aluminium mengacu pada ukuran masing-masing kristal aluminium dalam sebuah benda cor. Ukuran kristal-kristal ini berkaitan langsung dengan jumlah butir atau inti yang terbentuk pada tahap-tahap paling awal proses pemadatan; semakin banyak butirnya, semakin halus ukuran butirnya. Ukuran butir yang kasar meningkatkan kesulitan proses pengisian dan menurunkan kualitas serta sifat mekanis suatu coran. Penghalusan butir membuat butir-butir menjadi lebih kecil dengan meningkatkan jumlah inti kristalisasi pada tahap awal pengkristalan, mirip seperti menaburkan es kering ke awan hujan.<\/p>\n<p>Keuntungan dari proses pemurnian biji-bijian antara lain:<br \/>\nPenyebaran porositas.<br \/>\nPencegahan air mata panas.<br \/>\nPeningkatan ketahanan terhadap tekanan melalui pencegahan terbentuknya lubang udara.<br \/>\nTitanium, boron, dan zirkonium merupakan bahan penghalus butir yang umum digunakan.
