El fundente l\u00edquido para aluminio tambi\u00e9n incluye el tratamiento de la masa fundida con gas inerte o gas reactivo para eliminar inclusiones o contaminantes gaseosos del metal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica del fundente<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adtechamm.com\/es\/al-alloy-refining-flux\/\">Fundente l\u00edquido de aluminio<\/a> (en forma de polvo, copos o gr\u00e1nulos) suele estar compuesto por cloruro y fluoruro, adem\u00e1s de aditivos adicionales que le confieren propiedades especiales.<\/p>\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de los fundentes se basan en una mezcla de sales de KCl y NaCl, que forman un eut\u00e9ctico a baja temperatura (665 \u00baC). Otro componente habitual de los fundentes es el fluoruro de sodio (NaF).<br \/>\nEl fundente de recubrimiento habitual contiene aproximadamente 47,5% de NaCl, 47,5% de KCl y 5% de sal fluorada. Las sales cloradas presentan esta caracter\u00edstica en menor medida.<\/p>\n<p>Las sales de fluoruro de metales alcalinos tienen la capacidad de disolver \u00f3xidos (aunque en peque\u00f1a medida), lo que les permite penetrar en la pel\u00edcula de \u00f3xido presente en la escoria y depositarse en la pared del horno.<br \/>\nEsto da lugar a una mejor humectabilidad, lo que favorece la separaci\u00f3n de las inclusiones de \u00f3xido en la masa fundida y la separaci\u00f3n del aluminio met\u00e1lico en la escoria de esta\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flujo exot\u00e9rmico<\/strong><br \/>\nLos aditivos a base de nitrato (como el KNO\u2083) pueden provocar la liberaci\u00f3n de calor. El ox\u00edgeno liberado durante la descomposici\u00f3n del nitrato reacciona con el aluminio met\u00e1lico para formar Al\u2082O\u2083 y generar una gran cantidad de calor.<br \/>\nEsto aumenta localmente la tasa de renovaci\u00f3n y favorece la separaci\u00f3n del \u00f3xido met\u00e1lico.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Degas Flux<\/strong><br \/>\nAlgunos compuestos se descomponen al liberarse el gas, como el cloro o el di\u00f3xido de carbono.<br \/>\nSi estos flujos penetran por debajo de la superficie del metal fundido, se formar\u00e1n burbujas, lo que reducir\u00e1 el contenido de hidr\u00f3geno en el metal fundido.<br \/>\nEl m\u00e1s famoso de estos compuestos es el hexacloroetano (C\u2082Cl\u2086), que libera cloro (Cl\u2082) y compuestos gaseosos de AlCl\u2083.<\/p>\n<p>La humedad de la atm\u00f3sfera reacciona con el aluminio fundido para formar una pel\u00edcula de \u00f3xido, y se forman \u00e1tomos de hidr\u00f3geno entre los \u00e1tomos de aluminio. Los \u00f3xidos no solo permanecen en la superficie, sino que algunos de ellos tambi\u00e9n caen en la masa fundida y, cuando la temperatura desciende, algunos de ellos presentan burbujas de hidr\u00f3geno.<\/p>\n<p>Durante el proceso de fundici\u00f3n, se forma una pel\u00edcula de \u00f3xido en la superficie del aluminio. Parte de ese \u00f3xido cae en la masa fundida. Estos \u00f3xidos pueden presentarse en forma de pel\u00edculas con una relaci\u00f3n longitud y anchura\/espesor muy elevada.
