Resistencia a altas temperaturas: el material no debe agrietarse ni romperse durante el precalentamiento ni al entrar en contacto con el metal fundido. El material debe tener una baja expansi\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica para minimizar las tensiones de compresi\u00f3n laterales mientras se encuentra en la cubeta del filtro.<br \/>\n2. Resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n: el material del filtro no debe presentar una actividad qu\u00edmica significativa en el rango de aplicaci\u00f3n previsto (tiempo, temperatura, contenido de aleaci\u00f3n) y no debe entrar en contacto con el aluminio fundido ni con sus aleaciones convencionales.<br \/>\n3. Resistencia adecuada a la flexi\u00f3n y a la compresi\u00f3n.<br \/>\n4. Rentabilidad en el sector manufacturero.<br \/>\n5. El material filtrante, una vez utilizado, debe poder manipularse y eliminarse de forma segura.<br \/>\n6.
