No se puede garantizar la compatibilidad con gases especiales.<br \/>\nTodas las piezas de la unidad expuestas al gas, excepto la lanza de grafito, son de acero inoxidable o de Buna-N (juntas).<br \/>\nEs habitual que el tiempo de desgasificaci\u00f3n de un crisol de 400 libras sea de cuatro minutos cuando se utiliza nitr\u00f3geno gaseoso.<br \/>\nNo hay ninguna raz\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica para utilizar gases especiales caros (que cuestan hasta $500 por botella) cuando una botella de nitr\u00f3geno de $20 cumple la misma funci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, el nitr\u00f3geno gaseoso no produce emisiones t\u00f3xicas.<\/p>\n<p>Las unidades de desgasificaci\u00f3n de aluminio se basan en el principio de que el hidr\u00f3geno gaseoso disuelto se desplazar\u00e1 desde una zona de alta concentraci\u00f3n (en la masa fundida) hacia una zona de baja concentraci\u00f3n (en el gas inerte).
