In the rotary degassing method an inert or chemically inactive gas (Argon, Nitrogen) is purged through a rotating shaft and rotor.<\/p>\n

Los dos d\u00edgitos siguientes identifican la aleaci\u00f3n de aluminio o indican la pureza de la aleaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En las aleaciones de la serie 1xx.x, los dos \u00faltimos d\u00edgitos indican el nivel de pureza de la aleaci\u00f3n; coinciden con los dos d\u00edgitos situados a la derecha del punto decimal en la concentraci\u00f3n m\u00ednima de aluminio (en porcentaje): 150,0 significa un m\u00ednimo del 99,50% de aluminio en la aleaci\u00f3n; 120,1 significa un m\u00ednimo del 99,20% de aluminio en la aleaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En todos los dem\u00e1s grupos de aleaciones de aluminio (desde 2xx.x hasta 9xx.x), los dos \u00faltimos d\u00edgitos indican las diferentes aleaciones que componen el grupo.<\/p>\n

El \u00faltimo d\u00edgito indica la forma del producto: pieza fundida (designada con un \u201c0\u201d) o lingote (designado con un \u201c1\u201d o un \u201c2\u201d, en funci\u00f3n de los l\u00edmites de la composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica).<\/p>\n

Cualquier modificaci\u00f3n de la aleaci\u00f3n original o de los l\u00edmites de impurezas se indica mediante una letra de serie situada antes de la designaci\u00f3n num\u00e9rica. Las letras de serie se asignan por orden alfab\u00e9tico, comenzando por la A, pero omitiendo la I, la O, la Q y la X (la letra \u201cX\u201d est\u00e1 reservada para aleaciones experimentales).<\/p>\n
