El procedimiento de fabricaci\u00f3n es el siguiente: se introduce el soporte en la suspensi\u00f3n tixotr\u00f3pica de al\u00famina y se aplica un proceso de extrusi\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica con alineaci\u00f3n cuadrada al centro, de modo que la suspensi\u00f3n se deposite uniformemente en el esqueleto de espuma del soporte; tras el secado y la solidificaci\u00f3n, el soporte se convierte en el producto final mediante un proceso de calcinaci\u00f3n a una temperatura de 1180 \u2103.
