El hidr\u00f3geno gaseoso se dispersa en el metal fundido del mismo modo que lo har\u00eda si se liberara en cualquier espacio cerrado. Mantendr\u00e1 una concentraci\u00f3n constante en toda la masa fundida. El hidr\u00f3geno gaseoso puede migrar en el metal l\u00edquido casi tan r\u00e1pido como lo hace en el aire. Si esa misma burbuja se divide en burbujas de 1\/16\u201d de di\u00e1metro, la superficie aumenta a 96 pulgadas cuadradas. En otras palabras, si se utiliza el mismo volumen de gas y el di\u00e1metro de las burbujas se reduce a 1\/16 del di\u00e1metro original, la superficie total se multiplica por 16. Las burbujas m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as perturban menos la superficie del metal fundido, lo que reduce la absorci\u00f3n adicional de hidr\u00f3geno procedente de atm\u00f3sferas h\u00famedas.<\/p>\n<p>Se recomienda realizar la desgasificaci\u00f3n del aluminio con nitr\u00f3geno seco o arg\u00f3n. No se puede garantizar la compatibilidad con gases especiales. Todas las piezas de la unidad expuestas al gas, excepto la lanza de grafito, son de acero inoxidable o de Buna-N (juntas).
