El filtro debe ser lo suficientemente grande como para no retrasar ni obstruir el flujo de metal fundido, ni bloquearse con inclusiones retenidas antes de que se complete la fundici\u00f3n. Para conseguir un caudal lo m\u00e1s cercano posible al caudal original sin filtrar, el filtro debe ser varias veces mayor que el \u00e1rea de estrangulamiento del sistema de colada. Es necesario tener muy en cuenta los siguientes par\u00e1metros de fundici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Factores que influyen en el caudal: n\u00famero de poros del filtro (10, 15, 25) y \u00e1rea de estrangulamiento del sistema de control de flujo.<\/p>\n<p>Factores que influyen en la obstrucci\u00f3n: tama\u00f1o de los poros del filtro (10, 15, 25) y calidad de la masa fundida, incluyendo: materia prima de fusi\u00f3n, composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica de la aleaci\u00f3n, tratamiento de la masa fundida y cantidad de metal que se va a filtrar.<\/p>\n<p>Para conseguir un caudal adecuado, el filtro debe dimensionarse de tal forma que su superficie frontal sea varias veces mayor que la superficie total de estrangulamiento del sistema de inyecci\u00f3n. A medida que aumenta la relaci\u00f3n entre la superficie del filtro y la superficie de estrangulamiento, la velocidad de llenado del molde aumenta exponencialmente. Cuando la relaci\u00f3n entre el \u00e1rea del filtro y el \u00e1rea de estrangulamiento es inferior a cuatro, el filtro aumenta significativamente el tiempo de vertido en comparaci\u00f3n con el vertido sin filtrar.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando la relaci\u00f3n entre el \u00e1rea del filtro y el \u00e1rea de estrangulamiento es superior a ocho, el tiempo de vertido pr\u00e1cticamente no se ve afectado por el filtro. Si la relaci\u00f3n se sit\u00faa entre cuatro y ocho, puede observarse un ligero aumento del tiempo de vertido.<\/p>\n<p>Por lo general, se recomienda utilizar una relaci\u00f3n entre el \u00e1rea del filtro y el \u00e1rea del estrangulador de al menos cuatro, pero en el caso de piezas de fundici\u00f3n de secci\u00f3n delgada, dicha relaci\u00f3n debe ser mayor. Los tama\u00f1os de poro m\u00e1s finos (#15 y 25) aumentan ligeramente la restricci\u00f3n del caudal del filtro y pueden requerir un ligero aumento del \u00e1rea del filtro. Multiplicando el \u00e1rea de estrangulamiento por la relaci\u00f3n deseada entre el \u00e1rea del filtro y la del estrangulamiento se obtiene el tama\u00f1o de filtro necesario.<\/p>\n<p>Es importante que se utilice el filtro efectivo para el c\u00e1lculo. La superficie efectiva del filtro se define como la superficie de entrada del filtro que no queda cubierta por el relieve del molde. Los factores de obstrucci\u00f3n deben utilizarse a modo de orientaci\u00f3n.
